How to Start a Vocations Program for Your Parish

Starting a Parish Vocation Program may seem a daunting task - especially given today's climate and the drawbacks parishes now face promoting, recruiting and developing future leadership for the vocations.
But, it isn't an impossible task. An effective program that fosters a vocation-friendly environment of encouragement, discussion, education and example - is key to helping those who may have heard God's call but like Samuel at first, may not yet understand what it means to hear and heed that call.

Fr. Jim Forsen offers a personal and unique perspective on the issues and some ideas for parish priests and parish leaders to address the reality of a dramatic decline in vocations.
